Here is a new poster for the upcoming Sci-fi movie “Predators”, which will storm into our theaters on July 9.
I really like it, since I think the thermal image gives it a retro touch, taking you back to 1987, when Arnold Schwarzenegger was the one who rumbled with the bad-ass aliens in a jungle.
In this one, we wont be seeing Schwarzenegger, instead Adrien Brody, Topher Grace, Alice Braga, Laurence Fishburne and Danny Trejo, will take on the Predators, after being abducted to a distant planet, where they will act as prey for a new breed of Predators.
Fun Things to Know…
- As one of the Predators we’ll see Derek Mears, the one who played Jason Voorhees in the 2009 reboot of “Friday the 13th”.
- The shooting of the movie took 53 days to complete and 60% where shot in Texas, for tax reasons.
- The movie is thought to be a sequel to the first two movies (1987, 1990), skipping the events that happened in the “Alien vs. Predator” movies.
